    It has actually always bothered me a little that Time Warner Cable and the other Time Warner share a name

    even worse: the original Time Warner no longer owns Time Inc., but has demonstrated no intention of changing its name

    they probably think commissioning a new name, new logo, and replacing all their signage and stationery and such is an unnecessary expense
