who actually watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians

I often hear it cited as the epitome of lowbrow entertainment but I have never heard anyone talk about it outside of the Internet or The Soup

  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
according to the ratings that i just grabbed off the internet, 2.081 million total viewers, though i don't know who these two point eight one million people are
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    Kim Kardashian's butt.
  • are you sure it keeps up with the kardashians?
  • My older sis used to. Dunno if she still does.
  • Kim Kardashian's butt.

which is roughly the size of 2.081 million people, so this checks out.
  • serious answer: normies

like my boyfriends flat in first year who would watch things like the jeremy kyle show, and geordie shore, and maade in chelsea, the only way is essex, etc. im sure they keep up with the kardashians

weirdly i have noticed these people tend to just have the tv on as background noise and will sit around and talk and pay no attentionn to what is actually happening but if you turn the tv off they will sit there and not talk. like people need the tv on to be able to talk. tbh i kind of do the same thing with radio 4 (because im hella middle class)

  • i like using mediocre TV or bad movies as a thing to make fun of/riff on with other people

bad TV seems too mind melting to work with though

    That's cool, I do that.

It's just I don't understand having shows you don't like as background noise.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
I don’t understand using TV for background noise, period. I'd much rather listen to music.

I have a bad habit of using Blip and YouTube videos as background noise, which always makes me feel a little bit guilty because it demonstrates that I really do have the attention span of a 4-year-old.

no not riffing on it (which is rly fun) but just talking about unrelated things with the TV on

and then if the TV is off it just stops

    idgi
  • i don't hate it, just idgi.
  • i have never seen that behavior
