What rule set should I set her up with? I want to go easy on her for the Nuzlocke challenge (maybe allowing the occasional revival under tight restrictions) as she's only played Black, Blue, and Colosseum, and hasn't completed any of those yet (assuming she beats Black, Black 2 would be the second main Pokemon game she ever plays to completion), and considering the younger age... Yeah, I don't want her to get too frustrated and hate the games

Klinklang is no longer on the list, but it consists entirely of Legendaries. I don't think Pokémon that don't evolve should count in this list, but what do I know?
Well, obviously, you'll want her to keep them in a "graveyard" box and not release her Pokémon. And you won't want to add "hard mode" variant rules like no overleveling, Pokémon Center healing only, Potion healing only, or you're only allowed to buy one Poké Ball in each town you visit (yes, this is a thing).
I think a good revival rule would be either one revival after every gym leader or only using revives you find in dungeons. Possibly both, but if not, the first one would probably be better since she probably won't want to actively look for them in hard-to-reach places.

I just calculated what the most damage you could do in a battle with legitimate Pokemon under legitimate conditions would be
A level 100 Reshiram with a Fusion Bolt boosted Fusion Flare (so 300 base power due to STAB), while it is sunny, after the Metronome item has activated 7 times due to Fusion Flare being used 7 times in a row, with Reshiram having max Special Attack (Timid, 31 IV, 252 EV), with Special Attack boosted by 6, while being Helping Hand'ed (So Triple Battle) against a level 1 Paras with Dry Skin, Special Defense lowered by 6 and at minimum (Lonely, 0 IV, 0 EV):
10,461,048 - 12,307,116 Damage
I'm pretty sure that's enough damage to atomize its soul

I could calculate the max damage a level 42 Cobalion using a critical hit Iron Head could do against a level 45 Lampent holding Eviolite =/ (assuming no stat boosts on either side, max Attack with no evs for Cobalion, and no IVs or EVs in HP or Defense for Lampent. If Cobalion has an Attack-boosting nature and Lampent has a Defense-hindering nature, it does about 45-53% damage. So you'd have to make sure to keep his HP up, but if you do, it wouldn't take him out in one hit.
Though I'm assuming it's a better case scenario than that, in which case it would be closer to 40-47%.

Frillish raising failed, Litwick gets OHKOd, TWO Zoroark get killed, I don't get Yamask, Boldore like me more than Joltik, forgetting to apply Super Repel because hijacked by N makes me miss my chance at a Cryoganol, I accidentally hit a too fast and get Cover Fossil instead of Plume Fossil (although the Turtle is a bro), FUCKING BOLDORE keeps me from Axew, Timburr kills everything I hold dear...
So far all I have left of my favourites are Furret, Stoutland, and Leavanny, and Leavanny is a bit useless at this point because bug types always get the shitty end of the stick, while Furret isn't of this generation and was obtained from the forest (Oh, nearly lost Furret THREE TIMES today)
Used two Dusk Balls after Cobalion burnt himself on Enid's body. The second one caught him. I... This was a dry run to see how many Pokemon I'd lose if I took him on. I... I wasn't supposed to actually manage to capture him o.o
Caught Virizion now. Sacred Sword took off just over half of Athos' HP (I originally named Cobalion Cobalt, but then realized all four of the Musketeer's names fit the character limit, so...), but the thing had troubles killing Enid. I'm really beginning to like Enid

Basically, something like Manaphy and Phione's relationship, but the same species instead of two different ones, so it still unlocks the same dex entry

That could work. The name "Master Copy Form" makes it sound like it would be a computer program like the Porygon family, though I'm assuming your idea was more of a cyborg.
^ Yeah, more of a cyborg (although a virtual Pokemon that was made to be super powerful ala Mewtwo and Genesect would be cool. Could have an ability that is like a better version of Download, perhaps changing around stat distributioj to best counter the opposing Pokemon (eg if the opposing Pokemon has insanely high attack and low defense, then the Pokemon could make it so the base stat that has, say, 160, is defense and the one with, say, 140 is attack), with it locking into that base stat configuration until the next battle (thus allowing it to pass on slightly inferior versions of these stats to off spring that would lack the ability.
Could have a dex entry explaining using it to mobolize an army. Heck, an evil team could have admins that have the clones and to shut down the operation you have to catch or knock out the master copy))

Also also, I must admit, I'm a little disappointed that the whole Unova freezing over thing is really happening in the game. It's partly for kind of a silly reason. I'm not a very big fan of cold weather because I'm a mutant space Feraligatr I never found it particularly comfortable.
But I'll probably be able to immerse myself in the game like I usually do nonetheless, so no biggie.

I notice that the trailer's version of the boy trainer and I have somewhat similar tastes in Pokémon. I'll probably be going with Snivy instead of Tepig, but I like Arcanine and Lucario. I'm probably going to have a ridiculously huge collection if I catch everything I want from this game.

I remember posting a Top 10 favorites list a while back. But to be completely honest, even making those can be tougher than it should be at times.
I'm fine with my signature favorite being the Totodile family, but after that, there's about 20 of them that I can reasonably put on a favorites list. And that's before factoring in Legendaries and Pokémon I'm curious to try out.
