Your 9 favorite books

Making a list of favorite books is a useless, arbitrary, self-deceiving activity which (I suspect) misses the point of literature and substitutes personal ego and senseless numerical competition for actual content. Therefore, I could not help but take LW's suggestion and make this thread.

What you do is:

Pick 9 favorite books.

Use a search engine to find some pictures and this site to put them together. Don't just draw it in MS Paint you lazy fuck.

Upload it and put it here.

I'll start off.

Choosing Ayn Rand, Twilight, or 50 Shades of Grey is an automatic -100 Imipoints.

i don't read a lot of fiction any more (well, books), but here are some books i liked. top left is book of imaginary beings.

egan and bear are meant to stand for the ridiculous amount of sci-fi i read in high school.

real talk this is such a good book, if you can find it it's well worth picking up

it's a slim little thing with pictures (it's a kids book) so it's a half an hour read at most

Thanks for making this thread. I am still trying to figure out what I would consider my 9 favorite books (I am at 5 right now), but I guess I could list my 9 least favorite books I have read if that is okay.
