Only if you want to. Call it an optional boss fight. It'll be really tough.
Also, since the Old Gods are all horrible, bestial monsters, the Old Demigods are the same, it's just...there is less. Old Godlings are the smallest of the horrible, bestial monsters.

Also, by the way, I feel that I should say a few things:
I've sketched out what the New World looks like, but I don't have any details settled. I highly encourage you to invent your own details, which I can then incorporate into the world. Define relationships, complications, beliefs, and so on. Doing this will tell me at least in part what you want out of the game, and your choices will drive the game, and allow me to create situations that feed it. Some of you have started, and I love what you've done.
I also advocate that you fill out a sheet with three or four NPCs that you know, what your character's relationship is with them, and how your character feels about them.
Here's an example that I did with Star Wars: Edge of the Empire earlier last week.
My character was a very serious character with a very painful past, and his supporting cast reflects that. You can make yours as silly or as grim as you want to. You also don't have to find face-claims if you don't want to.
If you want to be direct, tell me exactly what you want me to do with these characters.
Part of me want to go out and usurp the mayor, taking control of the town directly. But Asa would probably object to that. Darn token good teammate.
Another part of me wants to dig into the corruptness of the force. Wherever corruption lives, blackmail has a foothold. We could have the force eating out of our hands in a week's time.
Still, we should go see the Mayor before all that, in case something happens and we need to take care of it before returning to total town domination

The two temples in the area is the Old God temple of Chel (by far the "safest" Old God, and the most popular choice), and the newer, smaller Ruling Shrine that sits close to the edge of the forest. The Shrine is unofficial, and hopes to attract the Ruling King's favor and patronage, but so far there hasn't been any news that they have been blessed.
Cattlemen Shamans are basically druid ranchers. They raise beef and provide it to people, but only to those who use the entire cow, to not waste, and to slaughter with little pain. By necessity, soldiers on the march tend to not be able to fulfill those conditions, and as such, are a Cattleman's worst customer.

I'll just tell you up-front that despite what Bastion says, you can totally fight the Demigod and win. If you want to. But what you do, what happens to the people surrounding Gravestone, will change how difficult the challenge will be.
He's a low-ranked person placed in a strategically important area. It's always good to have those kinds of people as friends. That's how you hear all the good rumors and blackmail material..

Beat a DC of 25, and tell me what you want to accomplish with this.
EDIT: Wait, you want to intimidate this person into being your friend? That's...that's not going to happen. They might be temporarily helpful but they're never going to be friendly.

Like also I might have mentioned the Mayor, but you guys can just say you're doing or seeing something else and I'll try to accomodate that.
