I think I picked this up from the movie studios using January (and to a degree February) as dump months

Also how out-of-the-groove I tend to feel during the first month or so of Spring Semesters

    I generally feel like March is when my year truly begins too

    At the very least, what happens in March seems to set the tone for the rest of the year

    Years are long! For me, at least, they veer wildly about in tone

    My years can vary in tone, as well, but March defines a big chunk of it, at least.

    i usually get the year right on a consistent basis by

    july or so
