In the face of general confusion and apathy, I've decided that this is not an auspicious start to the RP. Which leaves me with a choice to make.

We could continue to trudge forward. Or, I could just skip through what was supposed to be a test mission and let you guys start with the main plot. Or, I could completely restart the RP and change things so the test mission is plot-relevant.

Suggestions?
