  Basically we're good at making pretzels and a handful of specific kinds of pastry, but we are really good at those things.

  
  

  I highly recommend The Pretzel Factory in Lancaster if you're ever in the area, they let you make your own pretzels and you can make some tasty stuff.

  Also there's scrapple (which is basically just "take the leftover parts of other foods and put them on the same plate") and tomato juice but those are like old man foods.

  Shoo-fly pie is pretty good, though I've found I have to be in the right mood for it. The closest non-Pennsylvanian things I can think of would be Archway molasses cookies, maybe brown sugar Pop-Tarts.

  we have those around here too but those have gone national. They're not any more Pennsylvanian than pizza is Italian.

  I like lots of pies. Apple, blueberry, cherry, pumpkin, sweet potato, raspberry, pecan... yus. :3

  Banana cream pie is honestly one of my favorites. Pudding-based pies in general are pretty great.
