  Touhou games are programmed while drunk because Zun is an alcoholic. Touhou characters are known to drink and sometimes shown drinking. Suika and Yuugi in particular are alcoholics, like Zun. One time Zun participated in making a small danmaku game about beer and food. One could blame alcohol for all this magical girl danmaku nonsense. :p
