If you don't know, there was a period when I got lots of things taped off TV from thrift stores around my area. I popped in a random tape I have yet to watch and am rewinding it to its beginning. This is an informal liveblog of what's on it and others.

    it also seems to have been taped over a bunch, because its label had things crossed out and new things written next to them

    It's a Colorado Avalanche-Phoenix Coyotes game, taped off of Altitude Sports and Entertainment sometime in the 2000s

    A graphic appeared with the Avs' "X" logo; this is from the 2005-06 NHL season (the entirety of the previous season went unplayed due to a labor dispute leading to its cancelation)

    Disney's foray into professional sports team ownership has not lasted into the present day; they would also purchase the California Angels MLB team in two deals in 1996 and 1998, but sell it off in 2003. The Ducks were sold in 2005 and the Disney reference was scrubbed from its name the following year.

    These episodes are starting to escape my memory, thankfully, but I do remember the diamond mine that the Jane Goddall expy made her monkeys create.

    I'm being 100% serious with that last line.
