Is it ju st the polygamy thing? What's the fucking deal there? If everybody in the relationship and contract is a consenting partner I fail to see a problem with it. Though I do ho pe it is allowed for both partnersz tohave multiple partners.

I think it falls under the slogan "I'm a Mormon". Try a search for that for more information. Generally it involves Mormons being all smiley and telling you that they have occupations and hobbies and etc.

And yeah, I don't have a problem with Mormons that I don't have with religious types in general. I'm just amused by the situation.

My own mother used to read it, despite being quite liberal. She finally got fed up with them when they excoriated Gordon Brown when he left office.

Jehovah Witnesses have the same problem, though none of them are running for GOP at the moment.

With Witnesses it seems to be mostly the no Holiday thing, but I suspect the "No blood transfusions" doesn't help.

The polygamy thing is interesting, it's not very common, really. Yet everyone associates it with Mormonism. I'm sure shows like Big Love didn't help.

Funnily enough, they're still growing at a pretty good rate (so are the Witnesses).

That seems like a pretty understandable usage of a divine telephone.

Hopefully God accepts collect calls, I wouldn't want to be charged long distance rates to other planes of existence.
