I don't know about you but I've recently come to love clowns and HATE how society has maligned them in recent years.
So let's talk about clowns! I never as a child thought that clowns were, well, funny, but they just seem to evoke a time when humor was simpler. Stupid fucking racism makes that time not very good but contemporary society is just so cruel to the clown. If only we could have a new Golden Age of Clowning...

i don't know though, the biggest difference that i can tell is that being a clown means making yourself the joke, directing all the ridicule purposefully at yourself and saying 'laugh at me'
it's a job that demands a very thick skin, and i guess i can respect them for that
where are you getting this higher purpose stuff?
i don't wanna be part of clown world but if it's your dream you must be fully aware some people would say that
