Hitmen For Destiny is a webcomic written by Øyvind Thorsby, a Norwegian with a penchant for writing stories marked by persistant typos, terrible art, a general batshit quality, evolutionary biology, and logical action puzzle plots that just keep escalating. It's about two hitmen for destiny, lots of weird monsters, the debatable heroine they are trying to protect. and the constant mistakes, miscalculations, and disasters that dog every step of the protagonist's journeys.

This webcomic looks pretty bad on first glance, but trust me: it is far more interesting, well planned out, and funny than it has any right to be. Also it's finished, so you don't have to worry about having to wait for a resolution. Try to at least persist until the arc where Professor Lostclock shows up.

Hitmen for Destiny is my favorite thing of Thorsby's so far. I've been following Brainchip, and it's had some good moments but so far the closest to the crazy set-pieces Thorsby's so good at was the nuclear base thing.

I can't believe Jyreme managed to not die, not even once.

Fusk and Vorte are one of the best examples of Those Two Bad Guys. Much more enjoyable than Neverwhere.

I do like that it gives a reason why destiny's failing and allowing the heroine to get out of her destiny, rather than it just happening for the sake of a happy ending.

That's what the Adjustment Bureau did, and I will always, always hate it for that

Jyreme suddenly turning competent in the final arc and using the mindscrew power of a shapeshifter to its full potential was amazing.

Yes. My face when that happened was...less than respectful.

Did wish that Caspar was a bit more competent. Using your enemies' worst fears against them is one of my favorite tropes. Mind, you, I also like giant spiders, but it gets old.
