Warner Communications. Paramount Communications. The soon-to-be-swallowed-by-Scripps-then-spat-back-out-under-a-different-name Journal Communications.

Except for Discovery Communications, media companies never have "Communications" in their names anymore. Why not?

    I guess people associate it with a sort of big conglomerate image that modern media companies want to try to avoid?

    (I've been half-tempted to change ABC Warner's name to "Warner Communications", but it doesn't have "Bros." in it, and seeing as how ABC Warner is, legally, the same entity as what was once Capital Cities/ABC, Inc., I'm worried about wiping out ABC from there)

    I associate "Warner Communications" with Atari

    I always found it odd you don't seem to show much interest in Nolan Bushnell; he seems like your kinda guy

    It makes sense to have "communications" in your name if you're a telco or an ISP, but I always found it odd that holding companies would do it.
