Allegedly, the episodes after the fanservice episodes 6 I think (forget how many there were?) has something to do with Rika talking with Keiichi about nightmares she has about the past lives she lived, and Keichan pats her head.

Not sure if the garbled clip I got was from the Kai bonus DVD (fucking bonus DVDs) or it was a leak from the next-coming-episode for the OVA.

^^^ According to Wikipedia, the next episode is 4, and is called "Dream Appearing chapter," so that's probably it.

Kira just kind of bothers me, and I'm not exactly sure why. I think part of it is that I love Higurashi so much, and at this point it just kind of comes off as milking the franchise without a good story reason.

Or making the Demon Exposing Chapter into an OVA.

Plus it earned it's cashing value, and I don't know what the Japanese Audience wants, so...they might actually want it to turn into a cute girl slice-o-life comedy series now that all of the killing is done, although...we might not...(as a selfish american collective mindset I am referring to)

The manga was very good, but not enough to ascend past the VN in terms of fulfilling the stories needs....because even though the Manga outranked the Annie Mae in terms of letting the watcher know what the hell was going on...it still had to leave out some other stuff, just enough to make it a little less than the VNs.

Although the VNs may kind of look not-so-nice, they still tell the story better.

And with saying that, on the Manga, Yutori Houjyo made Shion and Mion fucking gorgeous. I love how they looked.

Yeah. The main story is done, and after all they went through I guess I just don't feel like we need to see their happily-ever-after. And any new danger is going to feel forced and artificial.
