Yeah, Kroger didn't have any presence in the DC area for decades until they bought Harris Teeter recently. HT is actually native to Charlotte (and I'm pretty sure Kroger has stores there), but this is a market they're big in and that Kroger really wanted into.
actually I read an article when Kroger bought HT and apparently the only place there are actually both Kroger and HT stores is in the Raleigh-Durham area, which is where I used to live.
She does look a lot like PC-98 Marisa (who, in turn, looked very little like Marisa does nowadays. Fan theories about hair dye or magical mishaps abound).
If you're not Japanese, you probably don't give a damn about pachinko. But they love those stupid gambling machines over there, so what better way to exploit fans by sticking some beloved characters into a cheaply made video game and calling it a day? As if the shame of Rainbow Cotton wasn't bad enough, the latest Cotton entry is just a lazy cash-in and completely worthless to pretty much everyone outside of Japanese fans.
I hate how HG101 randomly gets extremely angry about the oddest things.
It's not like shitty tie-in gambling machines don't exist in America.

There is always Mame for arcade games, but arcade emulation can be finnicky.
MAME is wizardry beyond my skill level.
i would love to use mame to play some Gauntlet or Gauntlet Legends. but i don't know how.
at one point in time I succeeded at getting the first Mega Man arcade game to work. or maybe it was the second. not sure.
also, Raiden Trad. which i later just ended up buying anyway, in PC release form (DRM-free, too, which was nice). And it was just as unforgiving. Stupid "push repeatedly to shoot"...
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
You can probably set up auto-fire in Mame, which some players used and others frowned upon. Auto-fire is kind of an obsolete thing now because modern shmups have auto-fire as a game feature. You can also use savestates in Mame, which is great for practicing difficult tricks.

Mmmm, crysanthemum tea with a piece of rock sugar...
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot

chamomile is good for sleep, but it does smell kind of like goats
and they all have tea time
There is a Super Famicom one which is pretty good, you can run it on an SNES emulator.
The controls are changeable but I forget how
interesting.

Also, I think the arcade emulator that the Raiden bundle I got has auto-fire, but I'm not sure.
In any case, Guxt doesn't, unless you have the machine gun weapon. And it's noticeably weak compared to the default.
