  I started with 5E and I'm going to keep using 5E. I understand it, it's simple enough, and I can make things easily with it.

  I never really had friend to play with, but I read the AD&D, 3rd, 3.5 rule book thoroughly because I am a huge nerd. There were few time where I barely started a campaign, never got past 5 sessions.

  5E's really dumbed down from 3.5, but I still enjoy it. They're clearly ripping off Fate with the "inspiration" thing tho, but I still like it.

  Metacurrency's a thing that's not limited to Fate. Fate's metacurrency is so deeply ingrained that it's just not Fate without it.

  
  

  Also the playtest builds I played with didn't have Inspiration. So I'm just going to ignore it.

  I'm running a Pathfinder game right now. I ported 2e House of Strahd. It's going well, except that the port of Strahd I used is ridiculously OP (CR 24, can you believe it?)
