Haha, I'm only decent because I played the original a whole bunch. I was turrible when I first started... BoI is largely a game of pattern recognition and knowing how to deal with room layouts and enemies efficiently.

I think it's the same as before. The only ones that were changed were Eve, Samson, and Judas.

Except Platinum God! Which I would've gotten if I hadn't switched over to using SpiderMod for the last several months of vanilla Isaac's existence. Funnily enough, the last item I needed--Daddy's Love--was one of the first couple items I got in Rebirth.

I got all of the non-secret characters so it's no skin to me.

I've yet to have a successful Eden run, their average starting statistics seem to be abysmal. Routinely getting one tick in every stat and nothing else for instance.

Eden's haircut randomizes along with their items, funnily enough.

Anyway I seem to get a lot of fly items as Eden and very little HP.

So, with the buffs to Bloody Lust, Samson is now essentially "Eve, but better." (Bloody Lust now increases damage when you get hit, and lasts the whole floor.)

The thing is, AFAIK, Eve still has her abysmal 0.75 damage multiplier. Also, the Dead Bird's AI is even worse now.

idk, I've been having a much easier time with her than I did in Wrath of the Lamb. I've yet to beat Satan with her, but that's not unusual, I had a -11 loss streak yesterday.

also how have people already cracked the code open to verify that Eve still has that multiplier? Game has been out for like two days. People need to calm down.

Tip for Lazarus: When he dies, he gets the Anemia item, which causes you to lay down poisonous blood when damaged.

Apparently the shot-speed stat makes it move faster and thus easier to control.

I think that like Tiny Planet it's mostly useless without Brimstone or some other excellent item to synergize with it.

it's great with certain synergies but awful in almost all other situations. Especially if you have low shot speed.

I found a use for the Pulse Worm trinket, try it with Monstro's Lung.

I find Ludo to be pretty good actually. It's not really something you can pick up without consideration, but the ability to have your tear be exactly where you want it to be is amazing, as long as you're pretty good at multitasking.
