This is a thread in which all things Swag and/or BASED will be discussed.
This song is swag, you can tell because it has "swag" right in the name.
this song on the other hand is BASED, because it is by BASED GOD, aka Lil B.
it also points out how similar Lil B and Messy Marv both are to Hannah Montana. And indeed, they are quite similar.

what is this Homestuck shit.
If you're going to post meme series-related swag, at least make it one of the cool meme series.

Those aren't actually the main games.
The main games are arcade shooters, but I don't play those because they're terrible.
Also, almost none of the characters are actually LITTLE girls, that particular misconception comes from ZUN being totally unable to draw.
Also, TRAIN.
Also, you're a ninja.
I LIKE TRAINS
anyway, I dunno. I don't get why people like Homestuck. It's a flash "comic" with terrible art and a plot that is as uninteresting as it is complex.

And I find the art kind of charming. It's not so much bad as simplistic. Except when it's actually bad, then it's just part of the humour.
I like complexity plenty, but I don't like complexity when what's being complexed (this is a word now) isn't interesting to begin with. I never got very far into actually reading Homestuck, but I've read in-depth summaries.
It's honestly not worth my time to binge so much *just to see* if I'll like it (I've always hated "well you have to wait awhile before it gets good" as an argument to persuade someone to like something. Even if it IS true, you show the person the good stuff FIRST in that case, not after they've already read through the shit).
The characters look like paper cutouts.
You can't show somebody the good parts of Homestuck first, because none of it makes any sense whatsoever when taken out of context. Most of the humour comes from the characters, from running gags or from subverting prior expectations. Without talking you through a ton of boring exposition, I can't really explain to you why Karkat getting hit with a bucket is so funny.
And I don't think it really is a case of "you have to wait a while before it gets good". It's more that you have to feel compelled to read on even though bits of it are confusing at first and you know that Hussie is just fucking with you anyway.
I mean, it does get better, but it doesn't get significantly different, stylistically.
That's probably the best way to put it.
