Huh!
It's decent, but again, it's sort of oddly produced. The angry moments are raucous, but too clean, and the instrumental passages are too restrained and abbreviated. The Seer and especially To Be Kind really improve on that, although the tender moments are a bit fewer and further between.
Requoting my last post since it got page-bottomed:
^^^^ Other than parts of The Great Annhilator, I don't believe he's done anything that isn't sonically or thematically related to The Angels of Light since 1987, so I don't get where that expectation comes from.
