Why are we the only ones with weak baby teeth that can't bite for nothing. Comparatively. I know our jaw game is strong compared to the rest of our bodies, but it's weak compared to everyone else's jaw game
Because we started out as omnivores with an herbivorous bent and didn't have to process simple carbohydrates on a regular basis early in our development. We also likely ate more things that naturally cleaned our teeth—fruits like apples do that, and certain barks and herbs can be chewed to clean the mouth.
