Scooby-Doo weed indoctrination EXPOSED

You know how Scooby says "Scooby-Dooby-Doo?" It is not, in fact, a reference to marijuana, but rather, in the great Hanna-Barbera tradition of borrowing from themselves, is a take-off on "Yabba-Dabba-Doo!"

Scooby Snacks don't have weed in them, they're the store brand version of something even more addictive - Gro-Pup™ dog biscuits!

    also, if you really want to know, Hanna-Barbera created Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! because their superhero shows (e.g. Space Ghost, Birdman, The Herculoids, Moby Dick and Mighty Mightor) got canned for being too violent for the "action groups", and CBS wanted a non-violent cartoon that would shut them up. Which is why Scooby focused on scares and mystery-solving - H-B felt it would keep things interesting for the absence of head-bashing slapstick or superhero-on-villain brawling.
