Also, why on earth does Disney/DC make any sense at all?
Then again, why does anything about comic books make sense? Doctor Strange existing in the same multiverse as most conventional superheroes only makes the flimsiest kind of sense.
To be honest, all this discussion of Disney and its ownership of X and Y in the absence of any actual discussion of animated films or how weird comic book multiverses are is really sticking in my craw, so I would much rather have a discussion about the latter and/or the hilarity of mixed canon.

^ Ah, I have never seen that acronym.
Make your own thread, then. IT could be really cool.
There needs to be a separate canon for Strange and Doc Fate and the other reality shifters
They are almost by definition the most interesting characters in their respective meta-canons, at least insofar as that the threats and situations that they deal with are way more intriguing. So yes, they probably need their own continuities.
you wanna talk about the Disney Animated Canon but not the Disney or Warner Bros. shorts?
I would love to talk about them. I just don't want to keep talking about the "brand identity" of some freaking megacorp that just happens to own the rights to a lot of stuff that I barely care about.
