  Someone once told me that it shouldn't be amended because it's Walt's handwriting...sorry, but nuh-uh. The best-known "Walt Disney" wordmark was created almost two decades after his death, and of all of Walt's signatures through the years, they picked the one with a nigh-illegible "y" character as the basis for the wordmark.

  I have cut a caper with the dancing mad god

  The 'y' in the Disney logo never bothered me, but I always thought the 'D' looked more like a backwards 'G.' Doesn't help that I'm terrible with my lefts/rights and frequently parse it as a normal 'G.'
