he's a rather goofy guy
is the joke here just like "lol, white people fashion"?
these people dress like I dress
but the middle guy very much does
light wash slim fit jeans, comfy "dad" sneakers (almost always grey new balances) and a white Hanes t-shirt to show everyone on the internet that you don't care about fashion
sometimes you get other washed out colors and hints of scandanavian minimalism too, but you get the idea
this is a reaction to the whole "DARK AND DRAB GOTH AVANT-GARDE" thing that was big in 2012/2013 and the whole "ultra-neat classic dressing" thing that was the mantra amongst style blogs since like 2010

it used to be two pairs, but I got two pairs of boots and a pair of brown shoes for chorus
* 2 pairs of vintage florsheim kenmoors, one black one brown.
* pair of lame fugly boots for winter purposes
* white vans w/ a gum sole
* a pair of black split toe derbies of unknown providence, the last shape is ugly, the leather is poor, but they are comfy.
* a pair of slightly too large johnston & murphy tassel loafers.
Not sure, I guess it's that normcore reminds me of modern art in that there is absolutely nothing to it but context.
