I take it the avatar size is simply a "feature" of Vanilla forums? Or is there an actual way to make it do larger ones, say by going hog wild on some CSS code, somewhere?

On a self-hosted Vanilla forum (like IJBM2) or a paid vanillaforums.com plan, we could mess with the CSS and such to change the size of the avatars, but on the free plan we're kinda just stuck with whatever Vanilla gives us.

I've considered self-hosting (lee4hmz has offered to provide it) but I've never been too sure about it. It does seem good now, considering the uptick in activity lately.
