I think something can be said about how the B and T portions get marginalized by the larger community

other than that, people are people and thankfully not a lot of people take separatism or infighting seriously

Yeah, I think that more often than not people are willing to accept rather than reject when they have themselves experienced prejudice on similar grounds, even if they do not fully understand the experience. People are not, on the whole bad, merely limited and sometimes thoughtless. Mostly, they are more good.

Apparently Stonewall Scotland is decent, but I don't know much about them. But Stonewall GB is perfectly happy to throw people under the bus if they have to.
