Yeah, Juri's pretty darn gay, or at least bisexual, and that latter one's pretty dubious.

On the other hand, Utena and Anthy definitely have something going on by the end of the series, even if it is only platonic. It's definitely more intense than a normal friendship.

Juri in Revolutionary Girl Utena pines after a girl who envies and manipulates her despite not only recognising the crush late in the game, and may or may not have had a thing with a guy who becomes a douchetacular pawn in said game after the fact.

This makes some sense in context earlier and much better sense at the very end.

Also, Juri is very cool. Kind of a jerk, but genuinely fascinating and ultimately way too good for the people she has fought for.

Well, there are those moments at the very end where he comes out of his creeper trance and stops acting like a sociopath, and a few hints earlier on that he's not all that he pretends to be. But for most of the series, he really, really is.

But that scene is still absolutely delicious.
