    i think occam's razor is overrated

    if we studied the observable reality without the aid of microscopes and space telescopes and double slit experiments and particle accelerators, the most parsimonious answers turn out to be wrong because the reality is actually weirder and more complicated than it appears

    so why should the answers to questions we cannot answer by observation be any simpler?
