Aside from this, I think basically all other uses are "Floridian", emphasis on the second syllable.
* Biscayne National Park is mostly water. There are some islands. You need the Boat upgrade to reach the islands, and the Diving Gear upgrade to go underwater. If you simply go there with your regular gear, all you can do is visit the beginning of the area.
* Everglades National Park is mostly marshland but with some mangrove swamps. Again, most of this is inaccessible by foot or car. To explore the marshland, you will need the Airboat upgrade; to explore the mangrove swamps, you will need the Kayak upgrade.
* Speedrunners will need to carefully route out their approach to Dry Tortugas National Monument, as the route to the very tip of the map, Key West, is extremely linear, and furthermore, the Ferrymen that can transport runners to Dry Tortugas National Park are only available certain in-game times. Runners who grind for cash beforehand may be able to access the more expensive Seaplane or Ship options, though.
