"appreciation" is so vague that saying "they're all forms of appreciation" tells you very little
but you can appreciate things for reasons that are not actually pleasant, that did not inspire enjoyment in you, but are nonetheless thought-provoking, moving, impressive or otherwise of interest
i would posit that it's also possible to not personally enjoy something, but to review it positively with the recognition that it succeeds at what it attempts and that its intended audience will appreciate it
I would argue that thought-provoking, moving, impressive, and interesting things are a form of "enjoyment" in the original sense I was thinking of it.

It's possible, but difficult, as it requires simulating the thought processes of others to significant depth, and greatly risks stereotyping them.
Well I certainly enjoy being very emotionally affected by something, or feeling myself in great awe, or having lots of thoughts on a story and how it relates to my own life, long after I've finished experiencing it directly.
Exciting worldwide war of opinions! Every convert you make moves the needle a little bit! Every effort counts! An alternate reality game that IS reality! The game that determines what actually happens! Make allies! Make enemies! Help your allies! Fight your enemies! Play even as you sleep -- let someone hit the buzzer for you! You can monetize other people doing this for you! But if you are paid to do this, you can also disobey the person who pays you!

well, actually, let me replace "enjoyment" with "appreciation" i guess
there are many different modes of appreciation but I don't think they are really separable from each other

note how it renders the word used to have no meaning at all beyond just its purpose as a sound
to destroy its meaning and replace it with meaninglessness
there is nothing to get offended by
because there is no more meaning
