I feel compelled to mention that it feels unfair that Scooby-Doo has endured for 45 years, while Hanna-Barbera's earlier stuff that is (in my mind, at least) more appealing has mostly faded from popular culture.
I still don't get why Pirates of Dark Water never got a revival. Hollywood's scoured the dregs of 80s/90s pop culture, and there's this beautiful and unique fantasy world right there.
Marmaduke had a very brief cartoon series in the early 1980s, but he also co-starred with Heathcliff (strike 1) and it was an early R-S production (strike 2).
