I found a Mechanical Turk task where you're paid to listen to and evaluate unreleased music. And I was just given this.
I had no clue how to let that guy down easy, since he is the worst professional singer I have ever heard. Or at least I assume he's professional, since this legit Sia-style track was right before him.
12 years in the making, Killababylonkutz 2 continues right where Killababylonkutz left off. Far from just an overused ragga acapella on top of stuff or some kind of nostalgia for his hardcore fans. KBK 2 is an exciting and memorable production of half arssed idiocracy made by that spunky, spliffed up, wild child DJ of the the mid noughties
"The Album no one ever wanted to hear" NME
"Blurring the lines between a steaming pile of shit and a total load of bollocks" THE WIRE
"It's great to hear Shitmat's sound progress and evolve and move away from the chiches of his previous works, one of the most original albums to come out this year" QUIETUS
well, personally I've been spinning Jagwar Ma's record pretty continuously since I snagged it from the station playbox, and Flume's Skin is so good that it made me regret not listening to Flume earlier
deadmau5's W:/2016ALBUM/ has also been killer, though not quite in the way one would expect from Joel; it's looser and more individualized than most of his other albums, there's no attempt to try to make it sound like a cohesive whole but divorcing himself from that structure lets him pull off some sick production tricks that might not have worked in a wider context. I predicted on my first listen that it was going to be one of my favorites by him because of how much I like pretty much every track on its own, and thus far that's been true; it hasn't dethroned 4x4=12 as his best cohesive album experience, but as far as pure enjoyment goes it's up there with that one and For Lack Of A Better Name
I don't think either is deliberately imitating Jaga Jazzist... but I feel like both Theo Croker's Escape Velocity and Snarky Puppy's Silva both embody different aspects I like about JJ's The Stix and then run with them in different directions.
Also the LP version of "Vincent" has bumped that song up significantly in my estimation, although "Cosmic Hero" and "The Ballad of the Costa Concordia" vie for my personal favourite spot. "Cosmic Hero", in particular, is basically the exact sort of song I was aiming for on "Rose Crown". (Which was, of course, partly inspired by a much earlier CSH song.)

Not a drill, folks, nor a joke. I've heard it's pretty lit, too.

he has a cool style but it felt kinda... monotonous i guess?
I have to say that Edlyn was right all along: A wall of noise can indeed be pretty invigorating.
