Do most people even watch much over-the-air TV anymore?
Also, the MyNetworkTV affiliate isn't anywhere near as interesting as independents were 30 or even 20 years ago...they subsist on infomercials during the midday, for one thing. :P
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I don't think WDCA has really made an effort to be anything but a non-entity in a very long time
those stations seem to be little more than cash cows for Fox
Also, when the local stations go to sleep, do WTTG and WDCA share a bed? Or is WDCA chained to the bedpost while WTTG gets to sleep in the bed and roam freely?
Looks like WTTG isn't any better tonight...they're going to infomercials at 12:30 AM. Then again, it's a Sunday night, and a lot of people around here have early start times, so they're not likely to get many viewers after midnight.

I'm pretty sure Freeview counts as over-the-air, albeit in digital form
America hasn't had analog over-the-air broadcasts since 2009
Freeview is light years ahead of American OTA/terrestrial TV. Over here subscribing to a service like Virgin TV is almost a necessity for a selection beyond more than 15-20 channels.
I remember watching a lot of ITV2 when I was over there (typical American, continuing to watch American programming). Dave is pretty good too (and its name rocks).
In Sweden and South Korea (among other places), they actually treat fibre-optic cable and high-speed internet access as utilities, so everyone has absolutely fantastic coverage compared to our piecemeal low-grade coverage for people that can afford it.

mostly they use iplayer or 4od, though
that doesn't exist in the UK anymore but we still only watch freeview
(it's not a term we use in this country)

Also The Jeremy Kyle Show is absurd
