I enjoyed the comic, but I have to agree with the vocal minority sentiment.
Friday has attended a MtG event where she was the only participating woman out of over 100 players. The only time her gender was brought up was when someone realized they had never played a woman before at one of the draft events.
Panels four and five are interesting to me. I can't think of a single game or RPG book I know of that was created by a woman. Though, I don't know if this is bias or if there just aren't a lot of females trying to create games and new systems.
There is definitely a dearth of women in the game development field. Those women who are active in development activities also tend to be artists and graphics designers rather than programmers or game concept designers, at least according to how people are credited.

Well there was that time a woman created a game about depression and she got death and rape threats because apparently women do not know what depression means.
I think that most of the most intolerably sexist behaviour in the gaming world comes from people on the Internet, either because those people are too socially isolated and inept to go to conventions, too young and dependant on their parents finances, or too aware that acting like that in public could have serious repercussions. Cowards, creeps, cretins and kids, in other words.

I like the "in another setting" type of parody. Some of these are a bit hard to get though.

idk. Whoever's doing it, it's intolerable and it shouldn't happen at all.
