Let's do this not for my main browser but for my Waterfox Portable.

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20130119 Firefox/18.0

Note the difference between that and normal Firefox's string: "Win64" (64-bit Windows) instead of "WOW64" (a 32-bit program on 64-bit Windows)
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Might as well do this one too:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.4.2; Nexus 7 Build/KOT49H) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.99 Safari/537.36

  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0

Feel free to laugh at me for using "Windows NT 6.2".

Also, you can check how unique (and trackable) your user agent string is here.

  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I use Windows NT 6.3, so I'm in no position to judge. :P

IE 10.6's string is a horrifying mutant:

    Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.6; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0; InfoPath.2; SLCC1; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) 3gpp-gba UNTRUSTED/1.0
  • From my phone:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.2.2; SGH-I337 Build/JDQ39) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.99 Mobile Safari/537.36
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I never did understand why Microsoft felt the need to include the .NET CLR version numbers in IE's user agent
  • I didn't realize that fonts could be tracked, but it does kinda make sense, since the browser has to draw upon the fonts list to display text.
  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0
  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.76 Safari/537.36
  • kill living beings
I wonder why it says I use X11
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
    You don't use X11?
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
    Internet Explorer 11's string:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko

Between the "like Gecko" and the lack of an "MSIE", it's like even IE is ashamed to admit it's IE
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.102 Safari/537.36

On this computer, at least. The Mac runs something completely different.

    kill living beings

    You don't use X11?

i mean i don't know why a server would need to know that
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Ohhhh now I get what you mean

I thought you were saying it was inaccurate or something
  • kill living beings
i think the rest of the string rather handles that don't you think
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
May as well get my other two for the sake of completeness:

    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/33.0.1750.58 Safari/537.36

    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0
  • From one of my two school computers:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.102 Safari/537.36
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

I have no memory of making this post, especially not earlier this year.
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Do you still use an ARM device with Chrome OS (and apparently X11)?
  • Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 5116.115.5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/33.0.1750.152 Safari/537.36

    Apparently.
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I like how every single version of Chrome seems to identify itself as "Safari/537.36"
  • Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/33.0.1750.152 Safari/537.36

    What is that second one?
  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
luakit is a linux browser that combines webkit with a bunch of scripting options.  it's pretty neat, if underfeatured
  • kill living beings
"a bunch of scripting options" as in it's named after its scripting language

    i wonder why it doesn't report x11

    I would blame the browser

I haven't used luakit much recently unfortunately. It crashed a lot in the past..

Apparently MATLAB R2014b's built-in web browser is based on Chrome, or at least identifies itself as such:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.57 Safari/537.36
