    I remember looking at an old Logitech mouse driver in EDIT.EXE, and the copyright string in it was something like "This is (C) 198x-1992 Logitech" or something to that effect, and that turn of phrase has stuck with me since.

    I remain mildly disappointed by the trend toward software copyright notices just including the year of the latest release instead of a range of years.

    As an example: older versions of the Windows Command Prompt said something like "© 1985-2001", but everything since Vista just uses the latest year, like "© 2013" in 8.1...
