You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
“That perhaps is why people are so ready with the charge ‘escape.’ I never fully understood it till my friend Professor Tolkien asked me this simple question, ’What class of men would you expect to be most preoccupied with and most hostile to, the idea of escape?’ and gave the obvious answer: jailers."

Seriously though, I assumed you meant escapism as indulging in media that portrays people being whisked away from their boring (or terrible), everyday lives.
I don't think the act of playing video games counts as escapism.

This is an excellent point.
Also, what Kexruct said. You really give yourself hell for the littlest things.

Honestly, so long as you don't make that kind of fiction the model for your life, it shouldn't matter.
The song is "On the Mountain Looking Down". It is on both Solo Recordings At Home and the Angels of Light live album We Were Alive! It is probably my favourite song of his never to see a formal, full-band studio treatment (that has been released).
Incidentally, the initial track listing given by Gira for the new Swans album when he first reformed the band contained this song and "Surrogate", another solo track of his that I am inordinately fond of; it also shows up in the live set that Gira included with I Am Not Insane, on which he plays it with James Blackshaw. Yes, that James Blackshaw.

There's a reason you would ask that this is bad, and there's a difference between indulging in something and "craving" it
So I'm wondering perhaps if there's more to this than whats being said.
