I'm apparently in overly-literal mode, because my first thought was "wouldn't a defective delinquent be a law-abiding citizen?"

A very unusual Wendy's. The awkward placement of the signs seems to suggest it previously shared a building with something else...a Tim Hortons, perhaps?

Sort of like the KFC/A&W's down in Willow Grove around here.

Huh, I don't think I've encountered that particular combination yet...

For example, University Drive in Fairfax (Virginia) is in three parts -- a part into Fairfax City, a part that's residential, and a perpendicular part inside the GMU campus. This is because it used to be one road, but the residents complained that it became the major thoroughfare between campus and the city center, so the middle residential part was cut off from the other two, which were joined using the new George Mason Boulevard. The southern break (at the edge of campus) became a park, while the northern break is...awkward:
(that's University Drive to the left, and George Mason Boulevard to the right. house on the left does not share a road with its next-door neighbor to the north.)

That is weird. I've seen something similar happen here with state routes...primaries have gotten "downgraded" to secondaries (county roads, essentially) quite a bit.

For whatever reason, it seems to happen with US 62 in particular...
I guess it could just be a coincidence, but if so, it's an oddly specific one...

And on the flip side, here's OH 317 posted as "US 317":

Oh gosh, those are all over Merritt Parkway in Connecticut. Speed limit's techniclaly 45 or 50 but people do 65+ all the time. And there are only two lanes.

...that looks eerily similar to a place in a nightmare of mine once.

fyi the new George Mason Boulevard runs between the residential area and Fairfax City Hall.
