So this morning I noticed that this started happening on, well, every website. Literally all of them.

Those blue double-underlined words? Yeah, fucking everywhere.

I installed (or well, was going to, and then cancelled the install halfway through) LibreOffice yesterday, and that might have something to do with it, but I'm otherwise at a loss for what to do.

...did you download LibreOffice from the official site, or from some third-party site? A lot of sites like to take open-source software and bundle it with a bunch of toolbars and shit.

Yeah, official LibreOffice from libreoffice.org does not have toolbars or other crap in it.

so there's one add-on I can't remove (something called ArcadeParlor) and my homepage has been set to Yahoo! Search, and I can't seem to change it.

Yeah, it's the other big open source one.

IIRC it's actually a fork of Open Office.

It didn't. I tried uninstalling a piggyback program called MovieMode and resetting firefox. Seems to have fixed the issue.
