Nautilus
It's existence dated back to the Devonian period along with it's other molluskian ancestors. They have extremely well-developed eyes over those millions of years.
Yet the Nautilus eyesight has never improved. It shrunk in size compared to Cameraceras (jump from 30ft to 1/2 foot in size) and it's shell strength has been reduced.
It bugs me. Why hasn't this thing improved at all?
