My personal favorite is his amazing performance in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. What would have been a crude comedy in anyone else's hands became a transcendent masterpiece when directed by Sandler.

This reminds me that I should watch Punch Drunk Love.

I pretty much avoided watching his bad movies, so I fear I have little in the way of disdain for the man.

I'm surprised that he made Chuck and Larry into such a bro movie.

That takes a good deal of skill and finesse, applied poorly and with duct tape.
