  I am currently reading William Adams' comic On Yonder Lea I'd Shelter Thee, which takes place in Scotland in the pre-industrial era and is about two orphaned boys who head out to sea to pay off family debt and escape famine. It is horribly, horribly sad. Naturally, I'm quite liking it thus far.
