  I initially wore them because it was a quick and easy way to dress "business casual" for work, then I realized it was a good way in general to make it look like I care a bit more than just throwing on a t-shirt.

  It's also a good thing to wear under a jacket in mid-autumn. That way, if it gets a bit warm, you have a slightly heavier short-sleeved shirt all ready.

  They're slightly heavier than t-shirts, being slightly thicker.  They also have collars that you can flip up when you're cold.
  
  I wear t-shirts and polos.  Not at the same time, mind you.

  The funny thing about Berserk's opening theme is that, absurd Engrish in the verses aside, it's a perfectly good rock number... that completely clashes with the rest of the soundtrack save the closing credits. Not sure how well it fits the show, either, although it syncs reasonably well with the opening animation.
