The horrifying case of Sesame Street

Lain has been watching Sesame Street and it's sort of horrifying. Dinosaurs and Elephants show up for a chat. Children have wands that can turn people into vegetables. Fairy-god people  show up to grant poorly thought out wishes that turn all the adults into children without warning.

It's just the sort of place where you might start chatting with an urban-sounding broccoli or you might find yourself turned into produce because a child waved their magic wand in the wrong direction.
