To be fair, I had never even thought of using firewall offensively. I didn't think it could be used in a spot a foe already occupied. Seeing ray do that plus the horizontal/vertical suggestion made me try it though
They were still in a line and both rolled pitifully small HP totals (3 and 1, respectively), so there was really no way you weren't going to kill them both.
for the record Aliroz, I am assuming that Lucretia simply has bottles of water to convert with either Brimstone or Phenol Trinitate on her at all times. I'm not making them take up an inventory slot, nor am I expecting you to just find bottles of water somewhere.

At the end of this turn it does.
My mistake, I forgot that Firewall doesn't have a persistence at this point.
Honestly I hadn't really considered that you'd try to use it horizontally.
I'd say two squares is a good length. It's roughly as wide as the hallway you're in, but said hallway is also wider than the one you were in earlier.
oh wait, I've actually ruled that it's three squares wide previously.

If there's no mention of duration, the duration is one turn for things like this.
I just forgot that when I said what I did earlier.
read the combat log.
N. destroyed a skeleton and severely wounded the Gazer Skull.
also it's now dmb's turn again.
note to self: make hallways longer.
That said, this particular bout of combat has thus far gone way more smoothly than the last one.
I think I may need to adjust Firewall's cost slightly.
either that or just throw more stuff at you.

it is now Demei's turn, and then N.'s.
I would be wholly unsurprised if these Skeletons failed to get even a single attack in.
If so, I want to finish off the Gazer by having a fairy butterfly kiss it to death
Maybe.
Alternately, maybe not.
I like to imagine that he actually said this out loud.
Chest Mimics are not a thing in this game.
I've always hated them as a monster and found them ridiculous. If you find a chest, it is a chest.
and then twirl it around like a bo staff.
Easier but much less fun.
Also I do not expect that you'd really want to climb down that hole.
