Knowledge as we know it is human knowledge, because we are humans.
Nothing is a concept that can be discussed but not studied itself. Unless you're talking about studying the way we have approached the concept. Or you mean vacuum.
"How do you plead?" "Not guilty, your honour." "So, you are telling the court that you did not commit the vilest act of blasphemy this glorious country has ever seen?" "I did not your honour. I only spoke the truth. Sour cream is a substance of the most disgusting composition." Gasps came from the stands. "ORDER! ORDER!" The gavel slammed. "I see no need to prolong this trial. Your guilt is as clear as the sun. For this most heinous of crimes, you are sentenced to life in the Creamian Nacho Mines. Guards, take this man away from our sight."
Neither agree nor disagree for #1 because I'm not sure what it means for knowledge to be human.
On #2, I'd disagree in that science has studied things like particle-antiparticle shit in the vacuum, but I'm not sure if that's what Myrm means by "nothing".
On #3, I disagree: negation is an operation you do on a predicate, and discrimination is a more general process.
On #4, I partially disagree: sour cream is delicious, but it spoils too easily.
Western science refuses to study the nothing, and this is entirely to it's benefit
Again, as Glenn said, one can discuss nothing as a concept and study it that way, but observing that which is not is a contradiction in and of itself, and furthermore incompatible with modern scientific method. As for nothingness in other fields, refer to John Scotus Eriugena's opinion on the nature of the divine. Also, (sic) on the "it's," Myrm. </jerkmode>
To some degree. But there is a degree of affirmation to all negation, intentional or not, and vice-versa. Again, back to Eriugena: The truly universal or divine is by necessity self-contradictory yet paradoxically stable because of this. That is what allows it to be truly universal or divine. It is not unlike the meditative practice of attempting to envision an object that is black and white at the same time without being grey.
The whole philosophical debate on humans and their ability of "Playing god" when it comes to scientific advancements is itself closer to the mindset of playing god than anything science could actually produce.

People who try to be snide and witty about the whole phrase of "equality" and how people aren't "equal" are really annoying.
Sequels should be made more in the style of remixes than extended youtube versions of themselves.
Fatties, rednecks, ugly people, the elderly, furries, hipsters and idiots who get bad tattoos are ruining America and deserve to be deported to Alabama, which deserves to be broken off from the rest of America and launched into the sun, agree or disagree.
You know, maybe it's the death of Margaret Thatcher, or just learning about what she's accomplished, but if it's one thing I've learned about life in general, It can get a whole lot worse off than what we can imagine. All you lot are just optimistic to think there's a bottom to this barrel of pain and torment that visits the human existence.
