I wasn't quite sure that it really had anything to do with Christianity. I don't know if there's any indication that the setting is Earth so much as Earth-like in a number of ways. I don't think I've seen mention of any historical figures.

Also, the symbol for her makes her merch sort of lame. Check out the store, her pillow is basically a cross with a circle.

Also seven branched candles. Her level is ripe with symbology.

Nothing overt, of course, but this still pleases Justice.

The final character has been announced. It's Double, a creepy shapeshifter that takes the form of a nun outside of battle.

And she does use frames of animation from other characters, but from the looks of it, they didn't phone it in like some people are saying.

She also has some moves "as" other characters that didn't make the cut for them.

Skullgirls has a lot of fanservice, so I guess that works out. Not that I want people to get the impression that that's supposed to be the main attraction, but I think there's a panty shot for every character but one.

Yeah, I think it does a good job of doing it in a tongue and cheek way, so you can appreciate it for humor or sincerely. And it doesn't really smush titties all over your screen, so you can ignore it if you want to. Plus, the game moves pretty fast, so you usually have to keep an eye out for it if you're motivated enough to try to see crotches.

^I think you catch glimpses of Painwheel's, but I can't remember. You can see Peacock's undies frequently enough, but they're loose-fitting old-fashioned bloomers. It's a lot more humorous than naughty in her case. I was referring to Ms. Fortune, because I think she just wears shorts.
