It's a fan parody, one girl does almost all the voices.

She does pretty well, I must say.

Also, holy skyrocket in quality. Read it and Sleep was hilarious. I might even like it more than Matripony.

So far it seems each one is just a dark, non-stop laugh fest, save #1.

#1 was still entertaining, mind you, but the others are just so much better.

e-series that happens to look a lot like Adventure Time.

Each episode is only five to seven minutes long, so it's worth say...watching the first three to see if it's your thing.

I think I kinda sorted out why #1 isn't as great as pretty much any other episode. In addition for not executing being weird for the sake of being weird as well as the other episodes, there's a subtle, scathing commentary on pony society and the subtle flaws in the show from #2 onward.

Though, the level of detail in each episode makes it pretty clear this is an affectionate parody.

Lunar Slander was actually pretty weak, Probably becuse instead of their being much in the way of subtle commentary, they just made fun of shy, awkward nerds.

Rewatched The Perfect Swarm, it's actually much funnier the second time around. Some of the characterization clicks more now that I've seen a lot more of each characters and I caught some of the subtler jokes this time around.

Also interesting now that I'm rewatching some of the series with Friday and Lain, the Spike abuse is also probably some more commentary on the show. Spike is not always treated that well, especially by Twilight. Swarm of the Century and Winter Wrap up are great examples of this.

Additionally, there's lots of fan-art of Pinkie as a Gypsy and Sweetie Belle as a robot.

It's possible that the "galloping blaze" that killed her parents and destroyed her town is a reference to the Nazi's and their Blitzkrieg warfare. This would mean that Pinkie's "orphanage" was a concentration camp.
This could also be related to the war that Rarity and Applejack fought in. If so, FiW likely takes place in the 1950's.

I...umm....what?

Actually minus the 1950s part, that's not half bad Head-cannon, though it'd mean Pinkie is significantly younger than most the other ponies.

Sweetie Bot did mention that "Sacrifice the meaning just to make the words rhyme". Also, it's possible she hasn't learned the sliding is about looking cool. Which would oddly make some sense in this case since they didn't actually win the race.

Oddly enough, not a ton of laugh out loud moments, but funny non-the-less.

Having lots of Sweetie Bot helped, and it was interesting to basically give the same treatment they do to a show to a fan work.

Same here, pretty much. There were only a couple moments that had me laughing out loud, but I did maintain a smile throughout.

And of course, because I have too much free time, I went and watched Snowdrop and then watched the episode again, which made it even funnier.

I watched Snowdrop before this episode, specifically because I heard it got parodied. I wonder if Sherclop had any idea that mocking Snowdrop would make a bunch of their fans watch it for the first time.

It's funny, I STARTED watching Snowdrop, but gave up because I thought it was basically a 14+ minute long monologue about snow and winter from the first few minutes.

I went back and finished it because I figured out from this episode that there was more to it.
