so today something rather curious happened. When the mail arrives (as it always does at around 11AM), the mailman actually knocked on the door.
This is a rare occurrence, since him doing such means he has a package, and people in my family are not typically the types to order things off of the internet or by phone. So I was of course curious as to what could possibly be in it, I was only made more curious when I saw the package was delivered via the UK's Royal Mail.
Then, when I opened it, it dawned on me what it was.
two bags of Percy Pigs, and a handwritten note from a8. For context, we'd had a conversation about them back in January or so (maybe earlier, actually), and a8 had promised to send me some for my birthday (which is tomorrow), I'd totally forgotten about it.
thanks for the birthday present man, it means a lot. ;_;
I split one with my younger brothers (who enjoyed them) and am saving the bag in the picture for myself.

They are.
They taste a bit like gummy bears, but the pink part is a bit more gum-like, and the ears have an almost jelly-ish taste to them (I assume this is the fruit juice, they are advertised as being "soft gums with fruit juice", after all.)
you picked today of all days to change your username :V
nah, but serious thank-yous again.
also I shouldn't have thrown the packaging paper away, I could've discerned your true name!
And aww, thanks, Sredni and Lee. v And Anonus. :)
New Zealand beatmaker/producer Samuel Truth had this to say when informed of my birthday present
i am now required to listen to his music.
oh I told him that it was from my friend Bobby.
easier than answering questions about why I have a friend named Tachyon.
His music is good though, he sounds a bit like Flying Lotus.
